I'm back with my 44th blog around my theme of "Passionately Failing Towards Success" and this time, I wanted to take all of you with me as I go through my day to day routine.

Starting off with my usual habit of waking up at 5:30am. This is followed by prayers and scriptures as I feel my day isn't complete without communing with God. I take a few moments of my early morning to give thanks, ask for forgiveness and seek guidance.

After that solemn time of day, I go directly to my e-mails to check for important correspondence, and to make sure I am able to catch important messages before I start my day. I look over my time table to see what I have planned.

By the time 6am rolls in, I'm ready to start with work on my business - Maia Dreams. I feel that it's important to be a hands on owner and boss. While I share the responsibilities of running my company with a team, I am still at the helm of my ship and it is crucial that I make sure everything will sail smoothly during the day.

As you all know, I am not only a business owner, I am also a mother. So it shouldn't be a surprise that my daughter takes priority over everything. So by 7:00am, I have to stop working to get her ready for the day. I also use this time to chat with her, let her know I love her with my words and actions. These precious routine is something I cherish for children grow so fast and I wanted to make sure I spend as much time with her as I could before she outgrows her childhood.

By the time I drop my daughter off to school at around 8:30am, I then head off to work. My team and I deliver programmes and they take a good chunk of my day that sometimes see me typically finish by 8pm. And in most days, I attend meetings in between delivering our Confident Me sessions.

I also have a few other jobs. One of which is at the hospital which I go to around 3x a week which totals around 27 hours.

My other work includes random acting or voice over gigs, some creative work such as hosting, MC, writing blogs and scripts. If you follow my Kristyl.Neho facebook page, you'll know that I also do lives as often as I could to get in touch with the people who are part of my little community of followers.

I also have a few callings at church which I try to keep on top of everything else which isn't always easy to do.

I am always working on my health & trying to get in around 10k steps a day. On average, I do about 9k steps a day. I'm increasing that as I prepare for a few marathons in 2023 & the Wall of China in 2024.

But this isn't the end of the day for me. Not by a long shot. I work like a fiend and this means that I tend to make use of every single moment of the day to finish a project, get in touch with my team, apply for funding, keep my social media platforms active and relevant, spend time with my daughter, organize my company's business plan and structure, and so on.

There's a famous adage that says we should all "seize the day" and I am one of those people who embody this words of wisdom. Is it exhausting? Very much so. Would I have it any other day? No. Because I consider time as an opportunity to get better, to discover something new and to live my life to the fullest so that I can the the woman God destined me to be. One day at a time.
