I have always loved challenges. I have been doing them for many years now and they always challenge me to be better and to improve in particular areas of my life, depending on the challenge. I have done challenges to learn to take more action, be consistent, be braver, show up more, physically change myself, be willing to fail bigger, to give up doing things that hold me back, learn to implement tools to help me better navigate the difficult moments in my life and to celebrate my wins more. If you have been following me, you will know that these Blogs I have been writing are all based around my theme for the year of 'Passionately Fail Towards Success'. Today is week 31 and these blogs allow me to check in weekly and reflect on whether I have been giving it my all, doing my best and failing more. Thankfully, I can say without any doubt that I have. I am constantly fearful of the things I am doing but I still move forward regardless of the trepidation. Ignoring the harsh judgements of my critics, willingly making big mistakes, fearing whether I can achieve the things I am doing but doing it regardless, trying new things, trying to be a better mum, boss, leader, sister, friend, listener. I am consistently putting myself in new situation that test my resilience and self belief. It is not easy but it helps me improve. I recently finished the Maia Dreams 30 Day Self Growth Challenge. The biggest lesson I learnt was to put the right tools in place as my go to when I am feeling overwhelmed or stressed. So now, I want to encourage myself to go a little further to complete 2022. So tomorrow, Monday, 8th August 2022, I begin my 100 Day challenge, as well as restarting the Maia Dreams 30 Day Self Growth Challenge and continuing to do my year long challenge to 'Passionate Fail Towards Success'.
So what does this 100 Day Challenge involve?
1. Going live everyday on the kristyl.neho page to share what I'm learning.
2. Documenting my health journey to walk 15k steps a day or train everyday to hold me accountable.
3. Go sugar free for 100 days. (except for Quest peanut butter cups.)
4. Complete the Maia Dreams 30 Day Self Growth Challenge.
5. To believe in myself more and to be more supportive of myself.
6. To do less of the things I don't love and do more of the things I love instead.
7. Focus less on haters and those people who judge me.
8. Read and complete the Book of Mormon.
9. Learn to stress less and be more patient.
10. Spend more quality time with my daughter, family and friends.
11. To celebrate my wins more.
12. Focus more on the positive and less of the struggles.
The exciting part of doing a challenge is the lessons I learn a long the way. Are they easy to do? No. That is why they are called a challenge. However, every time I do a challenge, I overcome difficulties and test my capabilities and I experience personal growth. The best part is that my self confidence increases because I prove to myself that I can do it even if I failed many times during the challenge.
So tonight, I will be spending time looking at how I will implement and execute this challenge before I embark on it tomorrow. I am excited to begin a new path in my life to become better than I was yesterday.
