Making Peace My Priority.

Hey there. It's time for another Weekly blog post where I share my thoughts and recent experiences. This week, I want to talk about something that has been close to my heart: the pursuit of peace and the challenges of keeping outside influences at bay.

Lately, I've found myself yearning for a sense of tranquility in my life. The world can be a chaotic, filled with noise, drama, distractions, and negativity. But deep down, I believe that peace is not just a distant dream; it's something I can actively have in my life.

So, I have been embarking on a personal journey to find that inner peace. I started by taking small steps, like pondering more each day. Whether it was sitting quietly Journaling, reading scriptures, these moments allowed me to reconnect with myself and find solace in the present moment.

I quickly realized that maintaining peace is easier said than done. External influences have a sneaky way of creeping into our lives, threatening to disrupt the harmony we've worked so hard to achieve. It could be a negative comment from someone, stressful news or even the struggles we are going through.

But here's the thing: we have the power to choose how we react to these influences. We can either let them consume us, or we can consciously decide to protect our peace. It's not always easy, but it's a practice worth pursuing.

One strategy that has helped me immensely has setting boundaries. I've learned to be selective about the information I consume and the people I surround myself with. By filtering out negativity and focusing on positive influences, I've created a space that nurtures my peace of mind.

Another essential aspect of maintaining peace has been my self-care. Taking care of our physical, mental, and emotional well-being is crucial. Whether it's through exercise, journaling, or engaging in hobbies we love, self-care allows us to recharge and stay centered amidst the chaos.

Of course, there are days when peace seems elusive, and that's okay too. Life is a rollercoaster, and we all have our ups and downs. It's important to remember that seeking peace doesn't mean avoiding challenges or negative emotions. Instead, it's about finding the strength to navigate through them with grace and resilience.

As I continue on this journey, I've come to realize that peace is not a destination; it's a way of life. It's about embracing the present moment, accepting what we cannot change, and finding gratitude for the simple joys that surround us.

Let's be mindful of the influences we allow into our lives and make conscious choices that protect our peace. Remember, it's a continuous process, but one that brings immeasurable rewards.
